Save the contents of the sounds folders to: Windows 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[yourSteamUserName]\portal\portal\sound Windows 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\[yourSteamUserName]\portal\portal\sound Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/[yourSteamUserName]/portal/portal/sound Save the contents of the materials folder to: Windows 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[yourSteamUserName]\portal\portal\materials Windows 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\[yourSteamUserName]\portal\portal\materials Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/[yourSteamUserName]/portal/portal/materials You may be asked about overwriting files if you have downloaded other map packs, like Portal: TFV. It does not matter if you overwrite the conflicting files—they are the same. |
